buket-klubniki.ru — Russian-language strawberry-bouquet and chocolate-covered-fruit gifting brand. We worked on the long-tail content strategy and the technical foundation that took the site to over 320 000 organic impressions per quarter and 5 993 clicks from Google Search alone. Showcased here as a methodology proof — the agency’s main focus is foreign-market SEO for international clients, but the scale-content pattern that delivered these numbers transfers directly to high-volume B2B content marketing.

Why this case is on the site

Our active agency work targets foreign markets (USA, EU, CIS excluding Russia and Belarus). This particular case is in the Russian gifting category and predates our current geographic focus. We include it because the methodology — semantic clustering at scale, mass content production with editorial discipline, internal linking infrastructure, schema optimisation — is exactly the same pattern we now deploy for B2B content marketing programs in English and European languages. The numbers in B2B are smaller but the structure is identical.

The challenge

The Russian gifting and flowers category is dominated by a handful of giant brands with deep budgets — both organic and paid. A direct head-on competition on terms like «купить букет» or «доставка цветов» is a losing bet for any new entrant without venture capital and a three-year horizon. The opportunity is in the long tail: the hundreds of «what to give X for Y occasion» questions users ask on Google before they have a brand in mind.

Specifically:

  • Seasonal volume. Several gifting holidays compress 4–5× normal search volume into 2–3 week windows. The technical foundation has to survive Christmas-scale traffic.
  • Informational intent dominates. Most queries are «что подарить маме», not «купить подарок маме». The user is in research mode, not buy mode — content has to convert at the read stage, not the search stage.
  • Massive query universe. Thousands of variants of «what to give X for Y» exist. A methodical approach can rank for hundreds of them simultaneously.

Our approach

Semantic clustering at scale. We mapped over 2 000 long-tail gift-question queries into approximately 80 semantic clusters. Each cluster gets one well-written landing page (1 200–2 000 words) covering the full intent — not a thin 300-word stub. Internal linking moves users from informational pages towards commercial pages where they can actually convert.

Mass content production with editorial standards. Not AI-generated thin content. Each landing page is written by a human writer with real product knowledge, edited for quality, optimised for the cluster marker, and assigned a single H1. Content density of the marker stays within 2–4% — standard Markin discipline.

Internal linking infrastructure. Information pages link to category pages, category pages link to product pages, product pages link back to category and home. The link graph is deep — every commercial page receives links from at least 8 information pages.

Schema.org optimisation across the catalogue. Product schema with prices, availability and reviews on every product page. FAQPage schema on information pages. BreadcrumbList everywhere. The combination drives unusually high CTR for top positions and feeds Google’s AI summaries directly.

Seasonal scaling. Content production accelerated 6–8 weeks before each major gift season. The site enters each season with fresh, indexed, ranking content rather than scrambling at the last minute.

Results (Google Search Console, 90-day window)

  • 320 580 organic impressions over 90 days — averaging 3 562 impressions per day.
  • 5 993 organic clicks over 90 days — 67 organic visits per day from Google alone.
  • 143 queries in Google top-3, 424 queries in top-10 — distribution rather than dependence on a single keyword.
  • Lead query «что подарить маме на 8 марта»: 35 307 impressions, position 1.3 — number-one Google result for one of the biggest seasonal queries in the niche.
  • Average position across all 2 000+ ranking queries: 4.8 — on average, top-of-page-one visibility for everything that ranks.

How this transfers to B2B content marketing

The ecommerce-gifts use case looks like an outlier for an agency that targets B2B and SaaS clients in foreign markets — but the methodology is the same one we deploy for high-volume B2B content marketing programs:

  • Semantic clustering instead of keyword stuffing. Whether the audience is gift shoppers or B2B procurement officers, modern Google ranks pages that fully answer an intent cluster, not pages stuffed with single keywords.
  • Mass content production with editorial discipline. The discipline that scales to 80+ landing pages per quarter is exactly what B2B clients need when they want to dominate a category (think: «what is X», «X vs Y», «best X for B2B», «X for SaaS»).
  • Internal linking is the highest-leverage activity. Most B2B content programs ship 50 articles and then forget them. We treat each new article as a chance to update existing internal links across the site — every published piece gets at least 3-5 new internal links from prior content.
  • Schema markup compounds. Faster crawling, better CTR, better visibility in Google’s AI summaries. B2B sites that ignore schema are leaving 15-30% of organic impressions on the table.
